Patrick Scheina, CLU®, is a Financial Advisor who began his career with Northwestern Mutual in August of 2003. Patrick became a College Unit Director in 2005 and Recruiting Field Director in 2008. His first year, Patrick qualified for the prestigious Pacesetter First 40 Award (given to Reps who write 40 Lives in their first 6 months). Since that time, he wrote100 Lives in 2007, and has written 75 Lives and qualified for the Life Impact Award on several occasions. He also qualified for the Achievement Award in 2007. He has attended Northwestern Mutual’s Fastrack Academy and Leadership Academy I and II. In 2010, Patrick became a member of the Million Dollar Round Table or MDRT as a qualified member 2011-2012. MDRT members represent the top 1% of the world’s best financial services professionals. Patrick enjoys being a Financial Representative and building relationships with his clients. He gets great satisfaction from helping people make responsible financial decisions that impact their family and financial security.

His core belief about the service he provides to his clients is: “Begin with an end in mind. Financial security is about the plan, not one particular product. Risk management is the foundation of all sound financial plans. Seek to understand before being understood.” He also enjoys his role as Recruiting Field Director and coaching and mentoring new Financial Representatives. His goal for the Springfield District Agency is to continue to develop the office into a full financial planning firm and to grow the number of Financial Advisors to 30 by the year 2015.

Patrick was born in Springfield, IL, and raised in Petersburg, IL, where he currently lives with his wife, Angela, and daughter, Kate. He graduated with a B.S. in Occupational Safety from Illinois State University. He is a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Sangamon County CEO and Jaycees. He enjoys family time, traveling, water recreation and cooking.
